1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TinyVideo at tinyvid.io (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TinyVideo provides video compression and optimization tools in two tiers:

Free tier — browser-based processing using WebAssembly. No account required. Video never leaves your device. Available to all visitors at no cost.
Pro tier — cloud-powered processing for larger files and faster results. Requires an account and available cloud cloud processing time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to create a Pro account. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Free Tier

No registration is required.
Processing occurs entirely within your browser; we have no access to your video files.
Output formats include MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM, and GIF.
Ads may be displayed to support the free service.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features of the Free tier at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Cloud Processing Time

Cloud time may be granted through signup allowances, purchases, rewards, or service refunds.
Cloud-time packs are a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically.
Users with cloud time may upload files up to 1.5 GB for cloud processing.
Uploaded files are retained on our servers for up to 8 hours after job completion, then automatically deleted.
Cloud time enables faster processing and larger file support.

6. Cloud Time, Payments and Refunds

Account holders may buy time used for cloud processing jobs. Cloud time has no cash value and is non-transferable.

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller for all purchases. Paddle handles billing, tax and receipts, and will appear on your statement.
You may request a full refund of a cloud-time pack within 14 days of purchase, provided none of the time in that pack has been used.
Once cloud time has been used on a processing job, that portion is non-refundable, since the processing has already been performed.
If a job fails through a fault on our side, the cloud time for that job is returned to your balance automatically.
Refunded or charged-back purchases have the corresponding cloud time removed from your balance.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TinyVideo to:

Process, distribute, or store content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service.
Circumvent usage limits or access controls.
Automate requests in a manner that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the video files you process. By uploading content via the Pro tier, you grant TinyVideo a limited, temporary licence solely to process and deliver the output to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

The TinyVideo name, logo, and software are the intellectual property of TinyVideo and may not be used without written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TinyVideo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or loss of revenue.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid for the cloud time used by the affected job.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice. We will notify account holders of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Cloud-Time Reward Changes

We reserve the right to modify cloud-time reward amounts, daily limits, or available reward experiences at any time. Changes will be reflected on the website and apply to future cloud-time rewards. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes agreement to the updated cloud-time policy.
